rShaders Deep Ocean is a procedural shader able to re-produce realistic sea, ocean, and complex water surfaces. It is a more complex shader than “Ocean”, with more advanced features, so the user can choose the shader depending the job needs.

Optical water properties are simulated in a simple but complete way. Main differences from “Ocean” shader are :

- complete set of parameters to control water distance color variation ;

- possibility to define different color area with bitmap or procedural map to simulate density variation, or foam presence, etc etc ;

- more complex control over water waves look and animation ;

- possibility to use map to control foam presence, general foam or “area” foam ;

- more precise reflection/refraction simulation.
